Cenla Broadcasting History

 

Cenla Broadcasting is a locally owned and operated company that hit the airwaves on September 17, 1978 with its radio station KQID 93.1.  Over the past forty-four years, CB has been an integral part in community events, local fundraising, area concerts, and local business growth.  In August of 2007, Cenla Broadcasting expanded it's portfolio by purchasing the four Clear Channel stations in Alexandria.  The company now owns and operates 8 radio stations with 15 signals, with plans to add yet another signal in May of this year.   In February 2015 Cenla Broadcasting Launched the First Louisiana Commercial HD Station North Of I-10 when KQID went HD. KRRV was soon to follow.
